Maggi Blue, our lead designer, currently lives in Warren, Maine and works out of Rockland, Maine. After graduating from Miami University in Ohio with a degree in Public Relations and Communications, Maggi worked in the PR department at Burgess Advertising in Portland, Maine. It was during this time at the advertising firm that Maggi began to develop her strong graphic design and marketing background. In 2003, Maggi earned her Web Design Certification from the American Graphics Institute located in Boston, Mass.

Maggi's professional experience also extends to numerous state, local and non-profit organizations in Maine and Nebraska where, before joining the Management Intervention Services team, she served as the Executive Director of the Community Services Fund of Nebraska. Currently, Maggi is a the lead at magpie creative as well as the co-director for Midcoast Magnet, an organization in the Midcoast region focused on attracting, retaining and connecting the Creative Economy to our amazing area. She has been involved with Midcoast Magnet since its inception over a year ago. She is not only the co-director but has also been responsible for all design elements for the organization's identity - from logo to print materials and web design.

She has been involved in various levels of design and a freelance designer for over 8 years and was awarded as one of MaineBiz's 10 "Next List" recipients in 2005.

Pottery, painting, web design and her husband Dwight occupy much of Maggi's personal time along with remodeling of their new home/studio located in Warren, Maine. Check out our pr ogress...The Blue House Project
